为监测诊断任何基于 CAN (局域控制网) 的系统而设计， Kvaser Memorator Light HS v2 能非常便捷地记录数据系列，无须软件设置。Kvaser Memorator Light 具备自动检测波特率功能来确定 CAN总线的比特率，无须配置即可附加在任何高速 CAN 总线上。所有 CAN 通讯均可被记录在一个循环使用的缓存区，当存储满了的时候，旧数据将让位给新数据。一个另外的循环缓存区用来保持错误帧状况和有关错误帧出现前后的报文通讯。
